Hi friends! Happy Halloween, Samhain, and All Saints’ Day. The veil is truly soooo thin. Going to get through this by only mentioning there is a major election happening once. I do not use astrology for predicting, but if you want to dive into that, The Astrology Podcast Forecast is just for you.
Ok, so the big transit we are looking at are Scorpio’s rulers, Mars (traditional) and Pluto (modern) opposing each other. This transit is exact on November 3rd (PST). This is significant because we will feel the impact of this for 6 months. Mars stations retrograde in December, so it will oppose Pluto again in April. We have Pluto in the very last degree of Capricorn and Mars meeting up while Mars is in its pre-retrograde shadow. Not to lean into stereotypes, but whatever you associate with Scorpio, you should be thinking of those themes now. Depths, transformation, death, secrets, intensity!!! So, with this new moon in Scorpio, it is time to get into the depths of whatever bullshit you are encountering, whatever you are running from, whatever you are fighting, or whatever you want to be committed to. This might be happening in the Scorpio part of your chart, but it might be affecting your Capricorn and Cancer houses as well. To be completely dramatic, there might be an ending here. A death that you have to face. Let it die, mourn it, and plant something new there. Mars is cultivating the courage you need to face the fear that Pluto is digging up. These planets are working hand in hand to help you face the dark. Walk with these weirdos through the forest, and don’t run from the shadows. You honestly could be reading this like “my life is roses”. Great, but if you immediately thought of something while reading this, congrats on your theme for the next 6 months. Regardless, take note of anything that comes up in the next week for your future April 2025 self. Write it down, because you are growing, you are transforming, you are healing, you are becoming undone, you are impacting, you are conquering. It is worth recording, and it is worth learning from. For the next couple of months, things will be tender and scary and incredibly human. Also, remember you don’t have to do this work alone, you cannot do this work alone. This is time to dip into your rituals. Whatever it is; altars, cards, ancestor work, somatic work, talking to trees, praying, water rituals, crystals, dream work…whatever feels good to you.
