Happy July???? Time is speeding by but I hope you are finding moments to rest. This new moon is very sweet and motivating. Although often thought as the crybaby homebody sign, do not forget that Cancer is a cardinal sign. Like the other cardinal signs (Capricorn, Aries & Libra) Cancer has drive and is self-motivated. Cancer initiates care. Cancer uses its emotions to create. Cancer holds firm boundaries and protects what it loves. With the support of Venus, use this new moon to understand more about what you want to nurture. What do you love? What do you want to protect? What do you want to grow? As we are sandwiched between two full moons in Capricorn and fueled to attack tasks or pursue projects, it is important to connect to our hearts. There aren’t really any tense aspects during this time so explore your relationships and emotions in a safe space. It takes courage to continually care, to show compassion, to think of others and to think of ourselves. I hope when you display acts of care you know that others are encouraged to do the same.
