New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Libra - 10/2/24

Take a minute girl come sit down and tell me what’s been happening! I’m maybe, ok? Full transparency, I spent the week of the full moon lunar eclipse almost exclusively listening to Ariana Grande (any yearners in the chat?) and going to bed at 7:30pm. I decided to get this to you earlier before I am untethered again. SECOND ECLIPSE! Only a month away from a major election! HA! This super duper cool eclipse is the penultimate eclipse we have on the Aries/Libra axis. Ideally, we should be closing the circle on the themes in our charts where Aries and Libra are. Quick dates!
April 20, 2023 - Solar eclipse in Aries (around the time the WGA voted to strike)
October 14, 2023 - Solar eclipse in Libra (around the time the WGA and SAG ratified the new agreement)
March 25, 2024 - Lunar eclipse in Libra (around the time of UN security council called for a ceasefire and ALSO that weird bridge collapse happens in Maryland)
April 8, 2024 - Solar eclipse in Aries (around the time the largest humanitarian aid airdrop takes place over the Gaza strip ALSO the Maryland congress proposes a bill to start replacing the bridge)
October 2, 2024 - Solar eclipse in Libra (omg what will happen)
March 29, 2025 - Solar eclipse in Aries (omg so wild so crazy what a fun conclusion to that thing)
So very obvious conflicts and disasters but notice how there is usually a call and response to these things. Like Kendrick choosing violence on Like That (3/22/24) and Drake showing up to a gunfight with a spork in April with Push Ups (4/13/24). Eclipse cycles are REAL.
Now, let’s get personal. I’m asking you to be obsessed with yourself for a bit. If you are terrible at chronicling your life like I am, (i’ll never be great at journaling and I only take pictures of clouds) look at what music you were listening to, your emails, texts, anything you can find to put together your Aries/Libra eclipse story. Sometimes I look at what I logged on Letterboxd or bank statements. Anything! Your memory can be triggered pretty easily if you just learn how to be a historian for your own life. Mama, let’s research! I encourage you to spend some time putting together your eclipse story this week and try to envision how it ends. How do you want this cycle to end? How is the universe telling you it will end? There are still lessons to learn here and eclipses are very much a ‘we can do it the easy way or hard way’ kinda vibe. Lean into the lesson and let go of the reins. I’ll check back in for the final eclipse of this series in March. Keep the Aries/Libra polarity in mind. No worries if nothing clicks now, you still have time. We are sensitive during eclipse portals and it’s important to look out for yourself and others. Embrace the Libra season. Choose diplomacy! Scorpio: Find balance between the spiritual and mundane. You might feel the urge to retreat but don’t lose sight of your daily life and tasks. Integrate spirituality into your daily life.
Sagittarius: Find balance between the individual and the group. Issues of dimming your light might come up, stay true to your true self and surround yourself with a community that supports that.
Capricorn: Finding balance between your public and private life. There might be a connection of your roots and the legacy you want to have in your career or socially.
Aquarius: Find balance with what you want to learn and who you learn from. Possibly making your education a part of your daily life. Expansion is here too.
Pisces: Find balance in your debts. Whether it is people you share resources with or who you owe, or they owe you. May need to cut ties or you find new valuable resources.
